In a joint venture with Stewart Engineers and Associates Inc, CVD Technologies is pleased to announce the development of the AcuraCoat™ System.

Stewart Engineers and Associates Inc., and its partners which include CVD Technologies Ltd, have extensive research and industrial experience in thin-films and applications in the float glass industry. Together they have developed the most technically advanced on-line CVD system available to the float glass manufacturing industry. As a consequence of this advanced design, a wide range of products and product properties can be achieved without engineering modifications. This system is capable of producing reflective, low-e, solar control and self-clean coatings. Stewart Engineers and Associates Inc. AcuraCoat™ System will produce a series of glass products delivering energy efficiency that will meet or exceed energy code requirements.

November 2004. CVD Technologies is pleased to announce that the major collaboration with Stewart Engineers and Associates Inc. has now been developed further. Stewart Engineers and Associates Inc has announced that it will, in future, collaborate with Arkema Inc. (formerly Atofina) in the field of online CVD coating of glass. Arkema is a major world chemical company and a world leading supplier of CVD precursor chemicals. The group will offer enhanced turnkey capability to a wide range of Glass manufacturers. The combination of CVD Technologies Ltd., Stewart Engineering and Associates Inc. and Arkema Inc. experience, knowledge, and expertise, promises to deliver world leading CVD technology for on-line coating of glass.
